A couple of weeks ago I had a most wonderful opportunity to watch Finn for a few hours while Angela ran some errands.  I was in Seattle for the day before I flew off to Wyoming.

So, here is what happened with Finn.

Gave him a bottle of mothers milk, where Finn almost tore it right out of my hands.  He was hungry.  After the bottle and a burp we went and changed the first diaper.  Then we went for a walk around the house looking at various things on the mantle and then, we did what Finn likes to do the most - look at all the cans and boxes in the kitchen cupboards.  He likes looking at the colors on the labels.

After the cupboard inventory I sang Finn the beginning of 47 songs including the long version of Hey Jude.  Twice.  He smiled. He also grew tired and feel asleep, which I was really grateful for as I had been up since 3:00 AM.  I quickly laid down on the couch and feel quickly into a deep sleep only to be awoken some 27 minutes later by Finn, who was done sleeping.

At this time Finn drank down another bottle, burped and upstairs we went to change, yet, another diaper.  I was lucky it was just wet.  Back downstairs for another walk around the house and then we went back to check the inventory of the cupboards, which we found to be in order.  Singing was next on our list of things to do and I introduced Finn to Black Dog, Immigrant Song and Hangman, all by Led Zeppelin.  He smiled.

About this time Angela arrived back and took over feeding.

I didn't know that being a Grand Dude would be so fulfilling and so much fun.  I hope Ammon and Angela have 10 kids!
